In March 2021, Nissan announced the price increase across the range of all Nissan and Datsun cars, which came into effect from 1st April 2021. The automaker has now unveiled the accurate extent of the price hike for Magnite. For Nissan Magnite, this is the third price increase since its launch in December 2020. As per the recent price revision, the prices for the entry-level 1.0-litre NA trims of Magnite have been hiked by up to Rs 33,000. The price for the turbocharged variants has been increased by up to Rs 20,000. Early last month, Nissan increased the prices of all turbocharged petrol trims of Magnite by Rs 30,000. This simply means that the prices for the turbocharged petrol variants have been hiked by Rs 50,000. The first price increase for the Nissan SUV came a few months back when the introductory price period came to an end, and the Japanese automaker hiked the price of the base model by Rs 50,000.

In the Indian market, the Nissan Magnite is powered by a 1.0-litre NA and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit. Mechanically, it gets propelled by a 1.0-litre NA and 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol mill. The former develops 71 Bhp of max power and 96 Nm of peak torque, while the latter produces power and torque output of 99 Bhp and 160 Nm. The Magnite is available with two transmission choices - 5-speed MT and CVT. In its segment, it rivals with the likes of Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and so on.
