To commemorate of completing 75 years in the Indian auto market, Tata Motors has launched special edition models named Founder’s Edition which get a special signage and newly designed logo. The Founder’s Edition is available for all Tata vehicles in its current lineup which consist of the Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, Altroz and the Harrier. The Founder’s Edition models, however, are only available and limited to people who are working for any one of the Tata Group of companies.

The Tata Founder’s Edition vehicles are largely similar to their regular counterparts, except that they get a bespoke JRD Tata Signage and a special Tata emblem with a blue background. JRD Tata is seen as a unique visionary who laid the foundation for homegrown automakers in the country. The JRD Tata signage sits above the front fenders and rear pillars on the exterior while the signage can be seen on the dashboard in the interior. The Founder’s Edition models additionally come with exclusive Founder’s Edition postcards from Iconic Series and a photo frame as well. Tata also has recent form in launching limited-run models, just launching the Tiago Limited Editon a few days ago to mark the first anniversary of the facelifted hatchback. The design of the Tiago remains largely the same except for the addition of the new blacked-out 14-inch alloys. The Limited Edition is based on the mid-level XT variant, and now gets features like touchscreen infotainment unit with 3D navigation through Navimaps, stereo system from Harman, voice command recognition, reverse parking sensor with display, and a rear parcel tray. The Tiago Limited Edition also come in three new colours - Daytona Grey, Flame Red and Pearlescent White.
