Tata Tiago NRG, with a 180-mm ground clearance, which is 10 mm higher than that of the normal variants, and a robust body, is a cross version of the Tiago hatchback. “NRG” comes from the word “Energy”, which means that it is an energetic vehicle.
The contrast coloured claddings will cover the body of the Tiago NRG, like the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X. The length, the width and the height of the car are all raised, in comparison with the usual Tiago. As regards the interior, Tata Tiago NRG’s outstanding features consist of a navigation system and a Touchscreen infotainment system with 8-speaker Harman stereo. The new vehicle is available with three colour options: Fuji White, Malabar Silver and Canyon Orange.

The Tata Tiago NRG will be powered by 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine which can deliver 85 PS and 114 Nm or a 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel motor which can produce 70 PS and 140 Nm. The transmission option available is only a 5-speed manual transmission.

Tata Tiago NRG is expected to have an introductory price of about Rs. 4.2 lakhs, directly rivalling The Maruti Celerio X, which is priced at Rs. 4.63 lakhs.
