Being launched as the second product under Toyota-Suzuki collaboration, the Urban Cruiser is offered in the Mid, High and Premium trims, available in a price range of Rs 8.4 lakh to Rs 11.3 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Toyota Urban Cruiser have already been underway at automaker’s official website and authorized showrooms across the country for a token amount of Rs 11,000. As we've been saying, the Toyota Urban Cruiser is to the Maruti Vitara Brezza what the Toyota Glanza is to the Maruti Baleno. Hence, the new Toyota SUV bears a strong resemblance to the Vitara Brezza, with the only visual difference arising out of the re-done front-end that gets a Toyota Fortuner-like grille. The Urban Cruiser come days with the launch of the Kia Sonet, the hottest new sub-compact SUV in the country at the moment.
As regards the exterior design of the Urban Cruiser, the features include LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs, LED fog lights, twin slat front grille borrowed from the Fortuner, restyled front bumper with faux skid plate. On the side profile and in the rear, the car features 16-inch diamond-cut alloy rims, black side cladding, polishing black rearview mirrors and LED taillights.
