Maruti Suzuki started its innings in India with a small hatchback called Maruti 800. Even now, the carmaker is known for some of its much-loved small hatchback offerings. Their latest entrant in this segment is the S-Presso. It is a fun-little hatchback with minimal proportions and SUV-themed styling. However, Maruti offers the car with a set of steelies, which fails to gel with the overall funky styling of the car. Here’s one that we bumped (digitally) in to, and it sits on a set of 14-inch aftermarket alloys wheels. These 5-spoke rims come from RPM tyres, and they don a hyper-silver finish that suits the grey colour scheme of the car.
Maruti S-Presso S-CNG Launched At Rs 4.48 Lakh, Offers Mileage Of 31.2 km/kg
These rims are sourced from Velocity Tyres, Ludhiana, Punjab. Talking of the tyres, this S-Presso is shod with Sonar Tyres, which is a sister company of Nankang rubber. It is a Taiwanese brand that is known for producing performance-spec rubber. Talking of the S-Presso it comes with a 1.0L K-series motor that belts out 68 PS of peak power output and 90 Nm of max torque. Maruti offers the S-Presso with 2 transmission options – 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT. The S-Presso is underpinned by Heartect platform that is also used by the expensive cars from the brand.
The prices of the S-Presso start rather low at Rs. 3.70 lakh and go all the way up to Rs. 5.13 lakh. However, S-Presso is a well-loaded car with a slew of features, such as 7-inch SmartPlay infotainment setup with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, power steering, power windows, steering audio controls and more.
