Indian cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin's Hyundai Santa Fe crashed in Rajasthan. Fortunately, the cricketer managed to escape the crash without any injuries.

Mohammed Azharuddin is one of the famous Indian cricketers. Recently, the cricketer was travelling to Ranthambore, Rajasthan, while his car – Hyundai Santa Fe, met with an accident and overturned on to its side. While the car suffered some major damages, the cricket and his family managed to walk out of it unhurt and safe. The incident took place on Lalsot-Kota highway in Rajasthan. Also, the cricketer has announced that he is fine. The Hyundai Santa Fe that the cricketer owns is the third-gen model, which is not on sale anymore. In the international markets, the South-Korean carmaker has launched a new updated model of the SUV.

The Hyundai Tucson was offered in the Indian market with a plethora of safety aids, such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic brake assist, hill hold assist, and roll-over avoidance. Also, it received a 5-star crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, USA. In the Indian market, the Hyundai Tucson was sold with a 2.2L turbocharged diesel engine. It could develop a peak power output of 194 Bhp and 420 Nm of max torque. The transmission choices included a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Interestingly, the automatic trims came standard with an AWD system.

Talking of the new-gen Hyundai Santa Fe, it isn’t launched in the Indian market yet. However, it is on sale in many international markets. It is offered with three engine options – 2.5L petrol, 2.5L turbo-petrol, and 1.6L turbo-petrol hybrid. Also, it gets the optional AWD layout. In terms of design, Hyundai has used its new-age design philosophy for the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. It gets a wide radiator grille at the front that merges into the vertically-split headlamp cluster quite gracefully.

In terms of features, the list has now grown longer than ever. It includes 12.3-inch instrument console, remote engine start, Harmon-Kardon audio system, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, wireless charging pad and more. For the safety of the occupant, it comes with forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, navigation-based smart cruise control, parking collision avoidance system, and junction turning detection.
