AutoAlive has revealed the latest images of the Ford Figo arriving the dealership. However, this time, unexpectedly, the Ford Figo wears a totally different coat from the familiar appearance. This time around, it seems that Ford has secretly crafted a new version of the Figo. This Ford Figo Blue is doubted to a special edition version built on the Ford Figo. It will possibly go on sale by the end of this month.
From the spy images, Ford Figo Blue houses a black-out front grille, revised front bumper, black ORVMs and new 15-inch alloy wheels. Along with these new touches, the Figo Blu also gets a black roof for a sporty effect. Inside the car, Ford Figo Blu possible goes with the full-black colour theme.
The version captured on the spy images features the TDCi on one side of the tailgate, which suggests that this Ford Figo Blu runs on the 1.5-litre four-cylinder TDCi diesel engine.
Ford Figo Blu is a special version built from the facelift Ford Figo
The standard Ford Figo has been given a facelift in India market. The facelifted Figo gets a mesh grille with chrome contour, DRLs, and redesigned bumper with C-shaped applique. The rear side design also mirrors what is put on the front end.
Also on this facelift version, Ford has proposed a new 6.5-inch SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment system that is packed with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
In terms of engine option, the Figo comes with two engine option, 1.2- and 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engines, all of which originates from the Dragon family. On the diesel variants, the 1.5-litre TDCi engine that makes 100PS and 215Nm will be carried forward from the previous version. Ford might also offer another option that could make a more affordable alternative for the higher-priced 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Back to the powertrain applied on the new Ford Figo. THe 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol engine could churn out the power of 96PS and 120Nm. Along with an all-new 5-speed manual transmission, this powertrain option could return the mileage of 20kmpl. On the diesel variants, the Ford Figo is powered by a 1.5-litre Ti-VCT three-cylinder petrol with 123 PS and 136 Nm on deck. It employs a 6-speed automatic transmission to deliver the power to the wheels.
