The demand for the 2020 Hyundai Creta diesel is 55%; that for the petrol version is not too far behind, at 45%.

The BSVI emission standards have taken effect in India; however, the demand for diesel cars is still very strong. Hyundai SUVs, Hyundai Creta to be more specific, are a striking example. The demand for the diesel version of this SUV accounts for 55% which means that for the petrol one is 45%. This is not quite surprising considering the marketing dynamics governing the rise of petrol-powered cars.
