Hyundai is the second-largest carmaker in the country. The carmaker has reached this spot with the help of small hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs. However, internationally, the carmaker sells a lot of full-size sedans, SUVs, and MPVs. One of them is all set to be updated soon. The car in question here is the H-1 MPV, which rivals the Kia Carnival internationally. Earlier it was expected to receive a facelift but recent spy shots suggest that the car would be updated thoroughly. In simpler words, Hyundai is developing the next-generation H-1 MPV. What's of real interest here is that this model could even make its way to Indian shores to rival the Toyota Innova Crysta and the Kia Carnival.

On the front, the MPV will get a big-wide cascading grille.
In the pictures, it can be seen that the H-1 now gets a contemporary silhouette with A-pillar placed right above the front wheel. The car appears to be a typical-van from sides. The curvy appearance on the front section adds a little drama to the overall boring silhouette. Moving towards the rear wheels, a drop in the beltline can also be seen, which gives it some more curves and flares on the sheet metal. However, with all these curves, the car gets a large greenhouse that will make the cabin feel airy.
The front facet of the car can be seen with a big-wide cascading grille as seen on some of the recent launches from the carmaker. But it would be interesting to see this iteration of H-1 with Hyundai’s current design language. The outgoing H-1 is kitted with features like projector headlamps, LED taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels, power sliding rear doors, 36-degree camera, and an 8-inch touchscreen unit for the infotainment unit. The next-generation of the MPV will also be loaded to the brims. It will feature LED lightings all around and a panoramic sunroof or dual-pane sunroof is also expected to be on the cards.
