The Jeep Compass facelift will be unveiled through a digital press conferencåçe on June 4, 2020 before its launch in the Indian auto market in early 2021. The facelifted Compass will feature minor exterior styling updates. These alterations will include smaller bi-xenon headlights with halogen DRLs, lower air intake and revised fog light housings and a typical seven-slat grille which will be moved upwards. The side profile will possibly remain unchanged except for the restyled wheels. At the rear, the SUV will come with LED taillights and an upgraded bumper.

Meanwhile, the interior is expected to experience a number of small changes. The Jeep Compass facelift will be equipped with a new infotainment system with a wide 12-inch portrait touchscreen display. It is an FCA-sourced UConnect5 infotainment system which was showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2019. This new infotainment unit comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
It is expected to support an eSIM-based connected technology which is similar to those on Kia or Hyundai cars along with Amazon Alexa, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Other outstanding features will include a fully digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display, a Beats-sourced sound system and ventilated seats. The international-spec model will be replete with new driver-assistive equipment like adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist which are also expected to be available in the India-bound model.
The international-spec Jeep Compass is likely to receive its power from a new 1.3-litre Firefly turbo petrol motor which will substitute the outgoing 1.4-litre MultiAIr 2 turbo motor. This new engine is available in two states of tunes: 150 PS/270 Nm and 180 PS/270 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed dual-dry clutch transmission and a 9-speed AT unit, respectively. Nevertheless, the India-spec one will continue to be powered by the current 1.4-litre one. Moreover, the facelifted Compass will also continue to keep under its hood a 2.0-litre turbo oil burner which is with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
