The 2021 facelifted Jeep Compass is launching on January 27th. Ahead of its launch, we take a look at all the variants that will launch and the features it will get. Read on for full details.

The Jeep Compass will be launched by the end of this month with a mid-life refresh. The Compass facelift will launch in India on January 27 and will come with added features and creature comforts. Ahead of the SUV’s official launch, the new Compass’ variants and features have been already revealed. The new model will come in 5 variants - Sports, Longitude, Limited, Limited (O) and S. The Compass has been regarded as one of the most capable SUVs in its segment. The mid-size SUV segment is one of the most competitive in the country with the likes of the Hyundai Tucson, Tata Harrier, and the MG Hector as rivals. In this article, we’ll take a look at the refreshed Compass’s variants and features.

Jeep Compass Sport

The entry-level variant, The Jeep Compass Sport will come with features like an 8.4-inch UConnect 5 infotainment screen with inbuilt Android Auto and Apple Car Play, Dual frontal airbags, 3.5-inch MID, Four speakers, Black fabric seats, Manual AC, Hill Start Assist, LED headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a rear wiper and defogger.

Jeep Compass Longitude

Next in line is the Longitude variant, which will come with all features as the Sport and adds push-button start/stop, Sky Grey interiors, 7.0-inch TFT cluster, Six speakers, Electrically foldable ORVMs, LED fog lamps, and roof rails.

Jeep Compass Limited

The Jeep Compass Limited will get all the features as the Longitude, and gets added features like 6 airbags Auto hold (AT only), Hill Descent Control (in 4X4), Dual-tone colours, Electrically adjustable driver seat with memory function, auto-dimming day/night IRVM Rain-sensing wipers, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a front skid plate.

Jeep Compass Limited (O)

Over the Limited variant, the Jeep Compass Limited (O) gets a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a powered tailgate.

Jeep Compass S

The flagship Jeep Compass will get top-spec features like a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a 9-speaker Alpine sound system, electric seat adjustment for the front passenger, ventilated front seats, black leather interior, wireless smartphone charging ambient footlights, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

Prices, as well as the complete feature list for the updated Jeep Compass, will only be available upon its launch on January 27. Expect Prices for the updated Compass to be a bit higher than the current model’s price range of Rs 16.49 lakh – Rs 24.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The Compass will also carry over the existing model’s powertrain options of 1 diesel and 1 petrol. The 2-litre 4-cylinder turbo-diesel churns out peak power and torque figures of 170 PS/350 Nm and it can be optioned with either a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed auto, or a newer 9-speed auto transmission. The petrol engine option is a 1.4-litre 4-pot turbo unit which makes 161 PS/250 Nm of peak power and torque which is paired to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic. Jeep will offer the Compass facelift with a total of seven paint schemes, namely Bright White, Brilliant Black, Exotic Red, Galaxy Blue, Magnesio Grey, Minimal Grey and Techno Green.
