The American carmaker Jeep is all set to launch the new Compass facelift in the Indian market tomorrow. The upcoming model of the SUV is expected to get cosmetic and feature updates on the outside and inside. It was first introduced in our market back in 2017 and now the carmaker is launching the SUV with a major update. Recently, the TrailHawk trim of the SUV was spied while testing without any camouflage.

In these images, one can clearly see the front design of the upcoming Jeep Compass facelift. As compared to the ongoing model, the facelifted Jeep Compass looks more aggressive. It employs a huge seven-slat grille, which also features some premium chrome accents. The front fascia of the SUV also gets a new set of projector headlamps with LED DRLs and a revised bumper. Outside, the SUV also gets a redesigned faux skid plate, bigger air dam, a new set of fog lamps, 5-spoke rims, new LED taillight and so on. As one can see in the images, the middle part of the bonnet has been blacked-out, which clearly shows that this is the TailHawk version of the SUV.

Inside, the carmaker will also tweak the cabin of Jeep Compass facelift. The dashboard styling of the SUV will be slightly revised and will feature all-leather upholstery. One of the major updates is the addition of a floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with UConnect 5 software, which supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice control. It’ll also come loaded with features like 3-spoke steering wheel, ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charging, auto AC, a 360-degree parking camera, a fully digital instrument console and much more. Mechanically, the SUV will remain the same. It will continue to derive power from 1.4-litre multi-air petrol and 2.0-litre multi-jet diesel. Transmission duties will be done by a 6-speed MT, a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a 7-speed DCT, depending upon the customer's choice. One can expect the facelift model of the SUV to be retailed at an expected starting price of Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
