Jeep revealed the Jeep Renegade Willys Limited Edition at the 2018 Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil. The vehicle comes with aesthetic improvements and good qualities, honouring Willys, the brand which produced the first Jeep vehicles. It can now be ordered even before its launch in the South American nations. Jeep desires to maintain the originality of the limited edition, so the American carmaker has decided to restrict the number of vehicles to be produced to just 250 units.

Based on the Longitude V2.0 4WD diesel variant, the Renegade Willys is offered in a unique green paint scheme with special design. Combined with the green bodywork are some contrasting dark exterior features such as the emblems, grille frames, bumpers, wheels and rearview mirror covers. All of these contribute to the glamorous on-road appearance of the vehicle.

As regards the exterior, the classic name “Willys” has been inserted two stars on both of its sides just above the front fenders. The bonnet and the C-pillars feature an outstanding star inside a circle and a 4 Wheel Drive lettering is stickered to the rear end.
In terms of the interior, it borrows a wide range of features from the Longitude V2.0 including seven airbags, a two-zone automatic temperature system, an 8.4-inch multimedia infotainment setup. Furthermore, one of the most prominent new features of the Renegade Willys Special Edition is the seats that come with a star logo attached to them.

Under the hood of the Jeep Renegade Willys is a 2.0L turbo diesel motor which can deliver a maximum power of 170 hp at 3,750 rpm and a peak torque of 350 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The transmission duties are undertaken by a 9-speed AT gearbox.

The regular version of the next-gen Jeep Renegade is scheduled to be launched in India in 2020. Once launched, it will be priced a little less than the new Compass which is likely to make its official debut at 2020 Auto Expo.
