The offensive model of the commendable German luxury carmaker, Mercedes-Benz V-Class is all set to come in the 24th of January next year via. The premium luxury MPV will make its entry to the Indian market via CBU format and is expected to top on the high-end MPV segment.
The upcoming V-Class will be the first luxury MPV of Mercedes in India
The celebrated Mercedes-Benz V-Class has been around the international markets for more than 20 years and the current-gen model was launched in 2014. Mercedes-Benz India is aware that India will be the potential niche market in the MPV segment because the Indian buyers are having few options for a family vehicle. The Indian customers will welcome first V-Class in 2019 with seven and eight seat configurations to compete in the competition that are having a few runners like Toyota Innova or the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
Luxury and pleasure are the key messages that the German carmaker would like to deliver. Measuring 5,140 mm in length along with the extended option up to 5,370 mm, the upcoming V-Class will be the largest MPV available in the Indian auto space. It is also expected to bring along with two seating configuration and the last seating row could be converted into a bed, enhancing the best convenience for the family car.

The spacious star will come with a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The motor is capable of generating about 190 bhp of max power and 400 Nm of peak torque. The MPV will be priced at around Rs 75 Lakh to Rs 80 Lakh for (ex-showroom, India) and carve out the niche segment.
