Mercedes-Benz will soon launch the new-gen C-Class. The cabin of the car will come loaded with all the bells and whistles.

The German automaker Mercedes-Benz is working on the new-gen version of C-Class (W06). A few days back, spy images of the car were flooded over the internet, which gives us a few hints that how the exterior of the car will look like.  Now, the spy images of the cabin have emerged online albeit of heavy camouflage.

These are the images are of the pre-production 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The interior design of the upcoming model is inspired by the latest seventh-gen S-Class. One can see that behind the multi-functional steering wheel, it features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment cluster, and the centre console consists of a tablet-style 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. Nevertheless, a few previous spy images of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class didn't get a massive touchscreen infotainment unit fitted in the centre console of the car. We expect the tablet-style touchscreen will only be offered with the top-spec trims, while the lower trims the will get a smaller touchscreen display along with a few physical buttons for HAVC controls. Moreover, the particular C-Class you see in these images is the AMG model, and it gets a flat-bottom steering wheel, which looks quite sporty.

Furthermore, the addition of a new heads-up display is almost twice the size of the one offered in the ongoing model. The upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be offered with mild-hybrid powertrain options along with a plug-in hybrid system. The plug-in hybrid system is expected to shred out power and torque outputs of 315 PS and 350 Nm, which will offer around 100km of range in one full charge. Moreover, the performance-oriented AMG version will also undergo downsizing. It is likely to be propelled by a 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid power plant. Due to the stricter emission norms being implemented across the world, this outcome was quite expected. The all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is expected to debut on 23rd February 2021 and is likely to hit the foreign markets by the second half of this year. Moreover, a wagon version of the car is also expected to join the stable later this year.
