Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Facelift Launched, Now Starts at Rs. 63.60 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB facelift goes on sale in the country. The carmaker has made a few design tweaks on the outside and some feature updates on the inside. Read about them here.

Mercedes-Benz has finally launched the new E-Class long-wheelbase facelift in the Indian market, which is offered at an introductory price of Rs 63.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is offered in three different variant levels namely - Expression, AMG Line, and Exclusive. Also, there are three engine options on offer. It gets retailed at a starting price of Rs 63.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base-spec E 200 Expression petrol variant and goes all the way up to Rs 80.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-end E 350d AMG Line trim. Outside, the new facelifted Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB gets a set of updated headlights and bumper upfront. It also features chrome inserts for fog lamp housings and a wider 3-slat chrome grille.

Front-look-of-Mercedes-Benz E-Class-LWB

At the rear, the car employs a new bumper and revised taillights. The car now rides on a set of redesigned alloy wheels. The top-end E 350d AMG line trim of the car features a new diamond-studded front grille, Beige-Tropez Blue cabin upholstery and sporty-looking 18-inch alloy wheels. It is retailed in six different colour shades, namely- Polar White, Designo Hyacinth Red, High-Tech Silver, Limited Selenite Grey, and Obsidian Black. On the inside, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster. It also employs a new steering wheel with capacitive touch controls. The top-spec variant features a new touchscreen in the rear-centre armrest and two USB ports at the rear.

The 350d AMG Line trim will come loaded with all the bells and whistles like the company’s latest MBUX software for the infotainment system, 360-degree parking camera, Reconnect with Alexa and Google home, front and reverse parking sensors, three-zone climate control, TPMS, 590W Burmester sound system, ESP, two wireless phone chargers, traction control, panoramic sunroof and much more. It gets propelled by a 2.0-litre four-pot turbo-petrol unit, 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine and a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel motor. Transmission duties are done by a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
