Having been introduced for the first time in 2015, the Honda Civic has been experienced the tenth generation so far. 1.8-litre i-VTEC engine
1.6-litre i-DTEC single-turbo diesel engine
In which, the 1.8-litre i-VTEC can generate 141 PS and 174 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.6-litre i-DTEC single-turbo diesel engine can churn out 120 PS and 300 Nm.
In several markets on global, the petrol engine will come paired with a CVT. However, with the Indian market, the customers will be provided with a low-cost 6-speed manual transmission option. The diesel engine comes mated to the 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic transmission options internationally. In the country, only the first choice will be on offer for the sake of cost saving.

Regarding the price, Honda schedules to position the 2019 Honda Civic in the price bracket of INR 18-22 lakh in India. With this price, the new sedan will take on the likes of the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla Altis and Hyundai Elantra.
It will set to launch on the 8th of next month.
