Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift was launched earlier this year at a starting price of Rs. 7.34 lakhs. The Brezza is loved for its not-so-fancy exterior and spacious interior. However, it seems like someone from Punjab didn’t exactly like the conservative styling of the Brezza or at least the regular factory-spec 16-inch alloy wheels for sure. Therefore, the car you see in the images has been kitted out with a set of 20-inch alloys wheels shod with low-profile rubber. The pictures come from Monga tyres, which is located in Ludhiana, Punjab.

The bigger wheels fill up the arches pretty well on this Maruti Vitara Brezza.
In the pictures, it can be seen that the car is brand-new and is yet to receive its permanent license number. The new wheels are from Plati, a popular aftermarket alloy rim manufacturer, and have a dual-spoke star pattern and a hyper-silver paint scheme. In the stock form, Brezza comes with R16 wheels. However, fitting the upsized units was not a tough job, as these wheels have the same PCD as the Brezza’s owheel hubs. Thus, these XXL-size wheels could be fitted without the use of spacers.
These alloys wheels give the Brezza an improved stance.
With the facelift, the Brezza got itself certain changes on the outside as well as on the inside, but the most prominent of all those changes is the new petrol motor, which replaces the old diesel unit. It now comes equipped with a K15B petrol motor. This 4-cylinder 1.5L engine is capable of belting out a peak power output of 105 PS and a max. torque output of 138 Nm. The transmission options available with this new engine are – 5-speed MT and 4-speed AT. The Brezza boasts of an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of 18.76 kmpl. However, Maruti is planning to introduce a mild-hybrid system on the manual variant of the Brezza to improve their mileage figures.

The ride quality goes for a toss with the use of larger rim size and low-profile tyres.
The Brezza comes suspended on McPherson struts up front and a torsion beam at the rear. With a kerb weight of 1130 kilograms, it isn’t a heavy SUV either. With its dimension measuring at 3,995 mm length, 1,750 mm in width, and 1,640 mm in height, it has a credible road presence as well. These specifications help the Brezza compete against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and more.
