Want to know which cars offer a sunroof? Want to know the most affordable price at which you can get it? Read on then!

With changing times, consumer preferences have changed a lot as well. Where sunroof used to a luxury feature for high-end cars, it is now standard fitment on many passenger cars. Of course, not every carmaker is offering sunroof on their cars, like Maruti Suzuki. That said, there are accessory packages available there as well. Overall, the market demand for this feature is quite high.

Here, however, we shall discuss the most affordable cars that are offered with sunroof direct from the factory. The lowest trim of the model, in which the sunroof is available, will be mentioned along with the price.

Hyundai Venue

Trim Name- SX

Price- Rs 9.78 lakh (ex-showroom)

Hyundai Venue is the only sub-10-lakh car to offer a sunroof in India. The ‘E’ and ‘S’ trims do not offer a sunroof, but ‘SX’ onwards (SX, SX (O), and SX Plus) you get one. There are three engine options available with the Hyundai Venue- a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol. Only the last two engine options are offered with a sunroof, with the 1.2 petrol reserved for the entry-level variants only.

Tata Nexon

Trim Name- XZ+ S

Price- Rs 10.10 lakh (ex-showroom)

Recently, Tata Motors has also started offering sunroof on two of its cars- the Nexon and the Harrier. The former gets a sunroof on the top two trims, namely ‘XZ+S’ and ‘XZ+(O)’. The XZ+S is the more affordable one, priced at Rs. 10.1 lakh for the petrol version and Rs. 11.6 for the diesel one.

Hyundai Verna

Trim Name- SX

Price- Rs 10.7 lakh (ex-showroom)

Similar to the Venue, Hyundai Verna is available with a sunroof on ‘SX’ trim onwards. This lends the recently-launched Hyundai Verna facelift a premium feel. Interestingly, the pre-facelift model was also available with a sunroof.
