Last year, the new Mercedes Benz CLA made its debut at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new model features a new design language which is used on for both the exterior and the interior. It receives styling cues from the A-class. Notably, the new CLA looks sportier compared to the previous generation. Based on the revised version of the MFA platform, the CLA is longer and wider than its previous model.

About the engine system, the global version of the Mercedes CLA derives power from a 2.0 four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, this unit is that generates a top power 302Ps and maximum torque of 295Nm. This powertrain comes with the 4MATIC All-drive-drive system. Another diesel engine is expected to be included at launch.
When entering the India market, the Mercedes Benz CLA is expected to be priced around Rs 40 lakh.
