Here's a modified Mahindra Thar that gets a slew of bolt-on accessories from the upcoming collection of Bimbra 4x4. Take a look at it here.

Mahindra Thar in its second-gen avatar is one of the most beautiful cars that are on sale in the country today. Its design is often said to be inspired by the American off-roader – Jeep Wrangler. However, there are certainly some rough edges that need to be ironed out, and aftermarket fitments serve this purpose quite well. Recently, a North-India based modifier ‘Bimbra 4x4’ posted a set of pictures of two examples of new-gen Mahindra Thar which are shod with their upcoming range of products. These products are designed to increase the overall user experience and aesthetics of the new-gen Mahindra Thar.

The accessories that tuner has developed are front centre armrest, Jeep-like front radiator grille, rear-seat armrests, roof rack and more. According to Bimbra 4x4, all of these modifications are bolt-on fitments and fitting them does not require any alteration to the vehicle. Moreover, folks at Bimbra 4x4 claim that the front centre armrest will not act as a hindrance in using bottle holders. For the fitment of roof rack, the tuner has used the rain gutters. Although, these parts are yet to enter the mass-scale production, which the modifier claims will begin soon.

The new-gen Mahindra Thar is a much-loaded car in comparison to its last-gen counterpart. It now comes fitted with a 7-inch infotainment screen that gets Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and satellite navigation. Also, it comes equipped with automatic climate control, keyless entry, power windows, power-foldable mirrors and more. For the safety of the occupants, the Thar gets dual-front airbags, front seat belt alarm, high-speed notifications, roll cage, 3-point seat belts for the rear occupants, traction control, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability program.
