The new Tata Safari will share the same platform with its five-seater twin, Tata Harrier. Although the carmaker said this platform will support an electric powertrain and an AWD system, we do expect the Safari to come as a front-wheel-drive SUV from the word go. For the prices, the new Tata Safari will likely go on sale with a premium over the Harrier which is available in between Rs 13.84 – 20.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
