The 2019 Maruti Ignis has just been launched in India today

With a number of the new Maruti cars heading to open a new year, the Maruti Ignis released the third new vehicle only days after the arrivals of 2019 Maruti WagonR and the facelifted Baleno hatchback. Maruti Suzuki has conducted some subtle feature upgrades for the all-new micro-SUV. The latest Maruti avatar is well-packed with the Seatbelt Reminder with pre-tensioners for front passenger, high-speed alert system, rear parking sensors, speed sensing auto door locking as standard in almost all variants. Besides, the ABS with EBD, dual front airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchorages are to name a few of essential kits that make the new Ignis pursuant to the upcoming front offset, side impact and pedestrian safety regulations in India this year.

Updated safety features are equipped on the all-new model

There are not many cosmetic changes on the all-new Maruti Ignis. The car heavily takes the design cues from the previous generation excepting for the refreshed silver roof rails, new projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights making its way more rugged and stylish. Despite the rumour of a modern SmartPlay Studio infotainment system to come, the Maruti Suzuki confirmed no alteration in its official announcement.
