Maruti Ignis Discounts for March 2021 Include Benefits of Upto Rs 42,000

Maruti Ignis is available with a total discount of up to Rs 42,000. The hatchback is priced from Rs 4.89 lakh to Rs 7.30 lakh.

Last year, Maruti Suzuki gave the Ignis a facelift upgrade which has significantly boosted the appeal of the hatchback model. Despite the styling enhancements, the Ignis is still among the lesser-known nameplates on Maruti's line-up. This month, in order to increase the sales performance of the SUV-inspired hatchback, Maruti is offering some benefits for the new buyers of the Ignis.

Maruti Ignis is available with attractive discounts this month 

This month, the customers are offered a direct cash discount of Rs 20,000 when buying the Ignis. In addition, Maruti also provides an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 for existing Maruti owners who want to exchange for a new Ignis. Some dealers can offer a discount of up to Rs 7,000. In total, the discounts for the Ignis this month could go up to Rs 42,000. It should be noted that, depending on the location, the discount offers can vary.

Last year, Maruti Suzuki is given a host of styling updates. The front end gets a revised bumper with faux skid plates, new grille design with heavy use of chrome. Maruti also added a few colour options, both monotone and dual-tone, to the colour palette. The new colour schemes include Lucent Orange, Turquoise Blue, Lucent Orange with black roof and Nexa blue with silver roof, and Nexa Blue with Black roof. However, the dual-tone options are limited to the top-spec variants only.

For the interior, the last year’s facelift also provided some new updates for the cabin, including new fabric seat upholstery and new 7-inch SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment. Maruti Ignis is currently available in four trims, Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Maruti Ignis makes use of a 1.2-litre VVT petrol engine. Paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT gearbox, this mill is capable of generating a maximum power of 83 BHP and a top torque of 113 Nm. These powertrains could deliver a fuel mileage of 20.89 kmpl. Maruti Ignis is offered as one of the premium offering retailed via Maruti Nexa. Maruti Ignis is competing against the Ford Freestyle and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Tata Tiago.
