Instead of being a hardcore off-roading car, the upcoming new-gen Thar will be more like a comfort-oriented SUV. With these new changes, the carmaker will be able to target a wide range of audience, which can also use this SUV for everyday commutes. Mahindra and Mahindra Limited have been testing the new-gen Thar for a long time now. The soft-roof offered with the ongoing model will get replaced by a hard-top unit in the new model.
Outside, the SUV will feature 7-slat vertical grille along with fender-mounted side blinkers at the front, brick-shaped taillamps cluster, flat bonnet and conventional round headlamps up front. One can also expect some big changes on the inside of the new-gen Model. The carmaker will offer features like a touchscreen infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control and automatic climate control. Moreover, the new-gen Thar will also employ a semi-digital instrument cluster, which consists of a dual-pod unit along with a MID display in the middle. Moreover, the all-new Mahindra off-roader will come fitted with some latest safety features.
