BMW is planning on unveiling a brand-new production model at the annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance during Monterey's Car Week next month. Until now, the identity of the car has not released yet. However, it is expected to be the new Z4 which share its platform with the forthcoming Toyota Supra.
BMW also plans to bring the production version of the M850i Coupe and Concept M8 Gran Coupe to the US for the very first time.
At the 2018 Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, BMW introduced the Concept M8 Gran Coupe and now the carmaker has also confirmed to make it for the public at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August.
The BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe is said to show off BMW's new design language. Adrian van Hooydonk, senior vice president of BMW Group Design has claimed
“The BMW 8 Series will take over as the new flagship model of the BMW lineup and, as such, combines unsurpassed sportiness and elegance. The BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe offers a look ahead to the most exotic and alluring variant of the new BMW 8 Series."
