BMW X3 Gets Affordable By Rs. 5 Lakh, New xDrive30i SportX Variant Introduced

BMW India has recently introduced the new base variant in the X3 range. With the introduction of more affordable entry-level trim, the BMW X3 gets cheaper by around Rs 5.00 lakh. Read more about it here.

BMW India has recently expanded the model line-up of X3 by introducing a new base trim. Known as the BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX, the new variant of the SUV has been priced at Rs 56.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes the SUV around Rs 5 lakh cheaper than the previous entry-level XDrive 30i Luxury Line trim, which carries a price tag of Rs 62.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bookings of the new base model have already been commenced across all the BMW dealerships in India. The automaker is offering several benefits up to Rs 1.50 lakh on the SUV, if purchased before 28th February 2021.

This includes the BMW Service Inclusive Package and BMW Accessories Package. The Service Inclusive Package features maintenance of any BMW Original Parts and oil requirements for 3 years/ 40,000 km. On the other hand, the Accessories Package consists of LED door projectors, a 2.5PM air filter, display key and universal wireless charger. The new BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline mill, which is tuned to produce power and torque outputs of 252 Bhp and 350 Nm, respectively. The engine comes paired with 8-speed automatic transmission. The power is delivered to all four wheels through BMW’s xDrive AWD system. The luxury SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds.

The BMW xDrive 20d Luxury Line trim is propelled by a 2.0-litre four-pot turbocharged diesel mill. It comes loaded with features like LED headlamps, electronically-controlled automatic differential brakes/ locks (ADB-X), LED fog lamps, hill start assist, hill descent control, LED taillights, traction control, automatic headlamps and wipers, parking assistant with a rearview camera, 18-inch alloy units, adaptive suspension, panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, 5.7-inch MID display, 8.8-inch infotainment unit and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. BMW has also planned to introduce the new M Performance variant, which is known as X3 M40i xDrive. This trim will come with a more powerful 3.0-litre, in-line six-pot twin-turbo gasoline engine.
