Hyundai has officially confirmed the date of launching the all-new Hyundai Santro which is on October 23rd. The booking is also said to open on 10th October.

Having been known with the codename AH2, now the hatch batch has finally revealed with the name Santro. As for the colour options, the car has been spotted a couple of times on the test runs which was in ‘Star Dust’ colour most of the time. The Korean automaker has already offered this colour option for its other models such as Verna, Grand i10, and Creta.
For the next month launching, Hyundai opens the bookings for the new Santro across all Hyundai dealerships in India from 10th October as a preparation of official launch.

Both online and offline booking are delivered by Hyundai dealers. The unofficial bookings are also available at some dealers in exchange of advance payment of Rs 10,000.
The Hyundai Santro, in the released a teaser has appeared as a quite big and tall hatchback. In particular, it is said to be bigger than the Eon which the sales figure is not as the expectation. The automaker is going to launch the new Santro with the goal to capture the B-segment.

The new Hyundai Santro will offer both hybrid and petrol variants such as
LPG-petrol
CNG-petrol
The petrol variant is claimed to offer a 1.1-litre engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. A 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) option will also be provided to customers.
The new Santro is said to stay below Grand i10 in the company production line
New Santro is said to be positioned below Grand i10 in the company’s line-up. The car will be produced later this month at the Chennai plant in of Hyundai.
The price of the new Hyundai Santro will be around Rs 2.5 lakh to 4.5 lakh. It will take on the likes of WagonR, Renault Kwid, Tata Tiago and higher variants of Maruti Alto. Hyundai is expected to sell at least 10,000 Santro units in India per month.
