As the Indian market is in the dearth for the convertible SUV, the Mahindra XUV might be a big launch in the niche market. Even though the convertibles have been considering “a-not-practical-choice” in the country, Land Rover has tried their hands with Evoque Convertible which has not printed a deep impression for the customers yet. Now, the domestic auto manufacturer, Mahindra has decided to put their hand into this market as well with the XUV 300 convertible.
As seen in the rendering made by SRK Designs, the SUV has been perfectly streamlined for a convertible look with several cosmetic tweaks on the side profile to retain the DNA intact.
The new convertible from Mahindra offers a very sporty look with an orange-black scheme
In general, the basic design has been remained compared to the mainstream version. However, there are still some updates made including the front side with a new and all-black grille. Additionally, the LED DRLs are redesigned to be shorter to shape a clean look. The rear view mirrors will also receive an update with integrated blinkers. Meanwhile, the front windshield is just like the regular model.
With the aims of adding sporty character, the new set of multi-spoke alloy wheels is such a significant contributor. Remarkably, the roof has been removed, and a thick black stripe has been wrapped along the window line.
