The Mahindra XUV300 has been launched in India. It is available in four variants: the W4, the W6, the W8 and the optional W8(O). The compact SUV has got a fashionable and edgy design inspired by the Cheetah. The front looks sophisticated, thanks to the DRLs. The slim grille becomes more noticeable with the LED projector headlamps. On the side profile, the character lines above the wheel arches contribute to the muscular appearance of the car. In the rear, you can realise the smart-looking taillights and a good-looking spoiler integrated on the contrasting white roof.

The Mahindra XUV300 is powered by two turbocharged motor options: a 1.2L petrol engine and a 1.5L diesel unit. While the former can produce a maximum power of 81 kW (110 bhp) at 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 200 Nm at 2,000-3,500 rpm, the latter is good for 85.8 kW (115 bhp) at 3,750 rpm against 300 Nm at 1,500-2,500 rpm. The transmission duties on both of the two engines are undertaken by a six-speed MT gearbox. An AMT unit will be introduced soon. The ARAI-certified mileage figures for the two motors are 17kmpl and 20kmpl, respectively.
