Mahindra XUV300 will be the most feature-laden offering in its segment. But how are all the goodies distributed across its range? The leaked images reveal all the details.

Mahindra XUV300 is scheduled to be launched on 14 February, which means it is just weeks away. Ahead of its official kick-off ceremony, the details of its variant offers are leaked via a Twitter account and then reported by IndianAutoBlogs.

The XUV300 will be offered in four options, including W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O) with the W4 being the standard and W8 and W8(O) being the top-spec variant. Let’s take a close look at what might come available for each variant on the range.

The low-end variant is equipped with all the standard features that will be available across the range. At around the expected price of 8 lakh, the customers are offered with a decent package including

  • Dual front airbags

  • ABS and EBD

  • ISOFIX child seat anchorage

  • Audio system with four speakers

  • Electrically adjustable ORVMs

  • Electric tailgate open

  • Gearshift indicator

  • Multiple-setting steering

  • 16-inch steel wheels

Mahindra XUV300 W6

One grade above the entry-level W4 is the W6. At this grade, the XUV300 comes with more playful exterior features along with convenient interior equipment. For example:

  • Wheel caps

  • Silver accent on the front grille

  • Door plastic cladding

  • Black roof rails

  • Rear spoiler

  • Interior features/Functions

  • Keyless entry

  • Multi-function steering wheel

Being the top-spec variant, the W8 will end up with various upmarket features. These features will open a door for the car users to enjoy a different level of comfort. Starting with the exterior added functions, the W8 is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic projector headlamps with LED DRLs, automatic wiper and also silver touch on front and rear skid plates. Inside the car, you can find some clever touches like ambient interior lighting, fabric upholstery and leather wrap on the steering wheel and gear knob. Besides, the interior also comes with useful and highly desirable functions, including:

  • Passive keyless entry

  • Push start/stop button

  • 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility

  • Auto system with four speakers and two tweeters

  • ESP

  • Hill hold assist

  • Dual zone AC

On the top of the range, we will see the XUV300 W8 (O). This variant is virtually the W8 with some additional option. Here are some new touches that are bonuses on this variant.

  • Knee and side airbags

  • Leather upholstery

  • Auto-dimming IRVM

  • Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

  • Front parking sensors

  • 17-inch machine-cut alloy wheels

  • Electric sunroof

  • Silver-painted roof rails

With electric sunroof, dual-zone climate control, Mahindra XUV300 easily becomes one of the most well-equipped vehicles in its class.

Apart from all the goodies offered for each variant, the leaked images also shed light on some specifications of the XUV300. It will stand at the ground clearance of 180mm and have the boot room of 265 litres. And as revealed before, the XUV300 is claimed to reach the mileage of 17kmpl and 20kmpl for petrol and diesel, respectively.

In terms of powertrains, Mahindra XUV300 will receive power from 1.2-litre petrol and a Marazzo-sourced 1.5-litre diesel motor. These units are good for 110bhp/200Nm and 115bhp and 300Nm, respectively. They are all coupled with the standard six-speed manual transmission system. And a hybrid version of the XUV300 is also expected to arrive on the top-spec W8(O).

The price bracket of the XUV300 is expected to range from Rs 8-12 lakh. And it will take on other runners in the compact SUV segment like Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport.
