Mahindra XUV300 is confirmed to come into four variants, namely, W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O). Report by Autocar has revealed that the upcoming SUV XUV300 will come with the micro-hybrid system on the top-spec variant W8 (O). On top of that, the top-spec W8 as well as W8 (O) is now revealed to employ the micro-hybrid system besides the diesel internal combustion engine.

And on the lower variant, the W4 is available with the following standard features:

Halogen headlights
16-inch steel wheels
Chrome touch on the grille
Apart from that, the standard variant is also packed with some necessary safety features, including:

ABS with EBD
The higher trim, W6, is offered with a roof-rail, 16-inch steel wheel with caps, and music system.

In terms of engines, the XUV300 will arrive with two engine options, a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol unit and a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit. The former is expected to provide 200Nm at best while the latter which is featured on the Marazzo could make 123PS and 300Nm. These two engines will share the same 6-speed manual transmission, and there is no automatic option available at launch.
Mahindra XUV300 will be priced from 8 to 12 lakh
At the price bracket ranging from 8 to 12 lakh, the XUV300 is a value-for-money package in the segment. It will compete with Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon, Honda WR-V, Hyundai Styx (QXi).
