Skoda has gained tremendous success in the crossover and SUV space with the well-received Kodiaq, Karoq and Kamiq. The upcoming Enyaq will be the next car to enter the line-up. What makes this model even more special is the fact that it will mark the transition of the car brand towards electrification. For that reason, the Skoda Enyaq has already gained the attention of all car aficionados as well as the automotive press.
Skoda Enyaq will go on sales later this year
Skoda Karoq Reaches Dealerships Ahead Of Imminent Launch
Earlier, the new crossover was spotted testing in its production form. Based on these images, Kolesa has crafted the digital version of the production-spec Skoda Enyaq. Targeted at the European market, the Skoda Enyaq features an unconventional rear design that is different from the regular crossovers.
It will have a station wagon-type bodyshell since it is a tradition for carmakers to launch estate versions of their models specially built for the European market. Skoda Octavia and Superb are also available in station wagon format in European countries. While some carmakers are carving their way out of these norms, Skoda wholeheartedly sticks to this tradition. The success of Skoda Octavia Combi as the best-selling wagon in Europe seems to prove that this strategy is working well. There is no reason to not apply this to the upcoming Skoda Enyaq EV.

Outside, the Skoda Enyaq gets sleek headlamps with LED DRLs, chrome-garnished black grille, sculptured bonnet design, sporty bumper, and sloping windshield. In the side profile, this crossover features chrome window lines, and for the rear end, it gets one Boomerang-shaped taillight and muscular boot design.
In terms of mechanicals, the Skoda Enyaq will come with a single motor and rear-wheel drive system. On the top-spec RS, the Enyaq will employ a dual-motor setting and four-wheel-drive configuration. It is also revealed that the Skoda Enyaq will come with three options of battery sizes. The driving range of Skoda Enyaq starts from around 340 km to 500 km. Using the fast charging, the battery can be charged to 80 per cent in 40 minutes.
