Hyundai Motor India Limited first introduced its i20 premium hatchback over a decade ago in 2008. 6 years later, the second-generation model was launched as the Elite i20 which was one of the best selling vehicles in its segment. The all-new third-gen i20 was launched during the Diwali period last year, and it proved to be an instant success. Within the first 20 days of launch, it had already gained over 20,000 bookings. The new model continues the i20’s streak of being a strong seller. The hatchback also has a thriving aftermarket modifying scene, and today we came across this particular example.
Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20 Sell As Much As Entire Tata Lineup
The pictures we have here is of an extensively modified Hyundai Elite i20 and is owned by Eshank Choudhary. You will immediately notice the new body kit it has been fitted with. There’s a more aggressive bumper that comes with much larger air vents and a splitter at the bottom. The headlights have been retrofitted with projector lamps and aftermarket DRLs, while the front logo and grille has been de-chromed. The body kit also adds side skirts to the profile, and the stock wheels have been binned for a set of 20-inch rims that are wrapped in low-profile rubber. There’s a new roof-mounted double-decker spoiler at the rear, while there’s a new rear bumper with a faux diffuser as well. Quad exhausts poke out of either side of the diffuser, though two of them may be dummies.
Coming to the interior, this modified Elite i20 has completely been completely redone and now gets a black and yellow colour theme. The dashboard, steering wheels, door panels, and front armrest are all wrapped in bright yellow leather, while the seats get leather covers of the same shade of yellow. Overall, this is one of the more extensively modified examples of an Elite i20 we have come across, and it surely is a head-turner.
