Recently, a Tata Tiago owner met with an accident while travelling to Hyderabad. Fortunately, he walked out of it safely. Impressed by the build quality, he bought home another Tiago within a week's time. Read about the incident here.

Tata Motors has managed to carve its niche by offering great-looking products with high crash-test ratings in the Indian market. The Nexon was the first Indian-made car to receive a 5-star crash-test rating from Global-NCAP. The Tata Tiago, on the other hand, is the cheapest car in the Indian market that comes with a 4-star crash-test rating, which indeed is its USP. The Tiago manages to clock decent figures on the monthly sales tally. Also, Tiago owners are often seen sharing post-crash pictures to showcase the car's build quality. Recently, we came across a set of pictures via a social media platform, which were shared by Sathya Prakash Reddy.

The owner suffered from some minor injuries as his arm was stuck between the roof and the door. However, the other occupants walked out of the Tiago with minor or no injuries.

Impressed by the build quality of Tata Tiago, the owner has bought another one. He mentions that the accident took place on October 17, 2020. And he bought a new Tata Tiago in the same Victory Yellow paint scheme as his totalled car, on November 5, 2020. Tata Tiago comes with a slew of safety features as standard. The list includes - dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt alarm, high-speed alerts, seatbelts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, and reverses parking sensors.
