In terms of design, the new Lexus LS 500h Nishijin gets a host of changes to its bumper and interior, based on the traditional Japanese handicrafts “Nishijin and Haku”. As revealed by Lexus, the LS 500h Nishijin gets inspiration from the path of the moonlight falling on the sea – a rare phenomenon occurs a few days pre and after the full moon. The intricately woven silver threads of brocade on the inside represents the shimmering waves while the thin “Haku” platinum metal foil depicts the moonlight falling down on the sea.

With such exquisite craftsmanship, the LS 500h Nishijin comes to offer a comfortable and unrivalled in-car experience. That said, it does feel very special though, it doesn’t lend the car a much different look compared to the standard LS 500h model. The new Lexus LS500h variant gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, redesigned physical buttons for better visibility and practicality.
