In spite of various rumours abounding the cyber space, Toyota is yet to show any intention to launch Toyota Rush in our country. However, if launched, the Rush can become a potent rival to the Maruti XL6, a crossover-SUV it already rivals in some of the international markets. In case you wonder how Toyota Rush fares against the Maruti XL6, our spec sheet comparison here should help you find it out.
The Maruti XL6 vs Toyota Rush makes quite a tasty comparison for some good reasons. As both cars are slotted in the small crossover-SUV segment, the differences between the XL6 and Rush in dimensions are not so excessive.

Which Variant Will Be The Winner – Maruti Ertiga VXi vs ZXi?
Both the Maruti XL6 and Toyota Rush get their own unique charm when talking about the exterior. The XL6 looks much like the Maruti Ertiga and endears itself with significant styling additions like high bonnet line, a flatter front nose along with some SUV-ish bits. Compared to the Toyota Rush, however, the XL6 looks a bit less daunting. The Toyota looks more striking at the front while the sleek side profile and sharp rear end roll out a better visual effect overall.
As for the interior, the Maruti XL6 features a dual-tone black-beige colour theme that gives a nice mix with black leatherette seats, blackened dashboard combined with dark wood trim and silver garnishes. While both get three rows of seating, the Toyota Rush seems to play a trump card when it comes to the configurations.
Toyota Rush is available with flexible 5- and 7-seater configurations.
The XL6 is available in a six-seater layout only and the Rush wins the XL6 hands down with five-seater and seven-seater configurations. Interestingly, the XL6 comes with captain seats in the middle row, which is a lot more appreciated than the Rush’s traditional seating.
In terms of features, the XL6 is equipped with a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay compatibility while the Rush makes do with a 6.8-inch infotainment display with AUX and USB supports. Still, the Toyota Rush compensates for the lack of a touchscreen by engine push-button start, an 8-speaker sound system, steering-mounted control, smart key, etc. Maruti XL6 gets an edge with real-time traffic updates, automatic climate control, a MID, cruise control and more.
