Maruti Suzuki has managed to transform an auto manufacturer which is popular with average buyers to an automaker which is well-known for producing premium models for the millenials. While many new vehicles have been introduced by the Indian largest automaker, its old models have also continually received updates. In 2015, Maruti introduced the S-Cross, its high-quality compact SUV to the Indian auto market. To respond to the warm welcome of the Indian SUV enthusiasts, MSI has introduced the mid-life updated version of the vehicle to the Indian auto market two years ago with Maruti’s SHVS technologies, new design and novel features.
There is also another premium hatchback, the Maruti Baleno, which was first introduced at around the same time as the S-Cross and has been dominating its segment for quite some time now. Earlier this year, it receives a mid-life facelift, which involves only cosmetic updates. The latest comer from the Indo - Japanese automaker in the three representatives is the highly competitive sub-4-meter Vitara Brezza compact SUV, which has recorded decent sales number since its launch in 2016.

Being a compact SUV, the Maruti S-Cross comes with an aggressive look. The front features a bold chrome 10-slat grille with Suzuki S’s symbol in the centre, on the two sides of which are new headlights integrated with DRLs. Moreover, the restyled black bumper and the newly designed bonnet also add to the bold appearance of the S-Cross. On the side profile, the changes that can be realized include only the alloy wheels shod with the 215/60 R16 rubber tyres. Likewise, the rear also receives only a slight alteration against the outgoing model, which is the new LED tail lamps.

The facelifted Maruti Baleno receives delicate alterations in terms of its cosmetic design. A new front grille, a sportier bumper, lower air intake, standard projector headlamps, new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Being on sale in the Indian auto market for quite some time before receiving the subtle changes, the Maruti Baleno has still been successful in maintaining its leading position in the hatchback segment, thanks to its harmonious and elegant appearance.
With the upgrade in terms of the cosmetic design, the Maruti Baleno still maintains its simple and elegant appearance
Looking at the Vitara Brezza, we will be impressed by its bold, strong, aggressive but proportionate styling, which has been created by the extended bumper, the large air intake and the aggressive dual-barrel headlamps. It looks like a real full-size SUV with wide wheels and a floating roof.
