Nissan Kicks vs Hyundai Creta vs Maruti S-Cross Specs

This time around, the South Korean carmaker brilliantly tops on the competition by offering the most powerful performance powertrains on The Hyundai Creta. The new model is available with the new engine options, comprising 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel and 1.6-litre petrol engines. The 1.6-litre units of the Creta come mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, while the 1.4-litre diesel motor comes with a 5-speed manual unit.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Kicks gets its power from a 110 hp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine along with a 106 hp, 1.5-litre gasoline burner that makes it fall behind at the second spot in our comparison. At the third sport is the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, with a 90 hp 1.3-litre diesel motor. For anyone who cares less about the robust performance on the tarmac but more about the efficiency, the S-cross might be perfect. It is made available with a mild hybrid system that enables better fuel economy with an auto start-stop and energy regeneration system.

Nissan Kicks vs Hyundai Creta vs Maruti S-Cross Features

It will be a little hard to decide the king in areas of interior and exterior features. The three SUVs come with a lengthy list of fitments for better driving convenience and safety aids. Personally speaking, the Nissan Kicks looks like a slightly better choice in this aspect.

Nissan Kicks vs Hyundai Creta vs Maruti S-Cross Price

The pricing range of the forthcoming Nissan Kicks should be in the same league as other rivals. The Hyundai Creta has been put on sale in a price range of Rs 9.50 Lakh to Rs 15.10 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the Maruti S-Cross is positioned in a price range of Rs 8.85 Lakh to Rs 11.45 Lakh. The price of the Nissan Kicks is still under the wraps but it is highly anticipated to fall in a bracket of Rs 9.94 lakh-Rs 14 Lakh.

Nissan Kicks vs Hyundai Creta vs Maruti S-Cross Verdict

Hyundai Creta is presently the best-seller of its SUV segment while the Maruti S-Cross is in the second place. The order might see a change once the Kicks is officially launched. Although the Nissan SUV brings its own advantages over other candidates, the overall package encompassing the aftersale service and support is not really attractive as compared to Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki.
