The next-gen Hyundai Creta (christened as Hyundai ix25 in China) has been unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show held in April 2019. Since the India-spec Hyundai Creta bears a striking similarity in terms of design and features with its international version, the unveiling of the next-gen ix25 has drawn huge attention from the public, not only within the Chinese boundaries but also in the Indian market. Recently, Sina Auto has released a set of images of the 2020 Hyundai Creta (ix25) that has shed a light on how the model could look like.
Hyundai Motor is gearing up for the next-generation Hyundai Creta in some markets including India.
The next-gen Chinese-spec Hyundai Creta boasts a more rounded aggressive front profile, which features a prominent radiator cascading grille flanked by a set of vertically-placed two-tier headlights with LED daytime running lights. That said, the striking front design of the new-gen Creta has been inspired largely by that of the new-age Hyundai SUVs including Hyundai Kona, Santa Fe and Palisade. The rear end of the new SUV sports a pair of vertically-stacked tail lamps with LED treatment, which are connected to each other by a garnish strip.

Though the interiors of the 2020 Hyundai Creta are not revealed through these pics, we’ve already known that Hyundai has made a fair bit of done-ups to maintain its upmarket credentials on the inside. The dashboard layout is dominated by a large floating touchscreen infotainment system without physical buttons, barring the engine start/stop button. While there’s a generous utilization of high-quality materials such as leather or soft plastic around the corner, the dashboard, seats and the rest of the cabin are influenced by a dual-tone black and beige colour theme.
The Indian-spec new-gen Creta is expected to get a different design direction compared to the Chinese ix25 sibling.

Hyundai is set to showcase the new-gen Creta in India at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo in April 2020 with the Creta launch lined up after a while. The India-spec Creta is expected to get two engine options- a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5litre turbo-diesel unit, which also power the recently-unveiled Kia Seltos sibling. These mills will be BSVI compliant.
