Ford Endeavour Prices Hiked By Up To Rs 1.2 Lakh, Range Now Starts At Rs. 29.99 Lakh

Ford has increased the prices of Endeavour by up to Rs. 1.2 Lakh. The premium SUV is now priced from Rs 29.99 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs. 34.45 lakh. Read the complete report here.

Earlier this year, Ford has introduced the BSVI version of its mid-size SUV, the Ford Endeavour. Initially, the BSVI Ford Endeavour was priced at Rs 29.55 lakh (ex-showroom price). Recently, the American car brand has confirmed the price hike across the range of the Ford Endeavour. The price is increased by up to Rs 1.2 lakh. After receiving the price hike, the premium SUV is available at a starting price of Rs 29.99 lakh.

BSVI Ford Endeavour was launched earlier this year at an introductory price of Rs 29.55 lakh 

The price hike of the new BSVI Ford Endeavour comes as no surprise. Earlier this year, Ford launched the new BSVI Endeavour at an introductory price, which was only slightly higher than that of the BSIV model. It was predicted that sooner or later, the new Ford Endeavour will see a major price hike. In fact, Ford planned that the introductory price would only be available till the end of April. However, the plan did not go as expected, and due to the national lockdown across the country, Ford had to delay the price hike until this month.

The price change on the BSVI Ford Endeavour starts from Rs 44,000 and goes up to Rs 1.2 lakh. The standard Titanium 4x2 trim is now available at Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while Titanium+ 4x2 and Titanium+ 4x4 variants are priced at Rs 32.75 lakh and Rs 34.45 lakh, respectively.

Price of the BSVI Ford Endeavour now starts at Rs 29.99 lakh 

With the BSVI update, the 2.2-litre diesel and 3.2-litre diesel engine of the BSIV Ford Endeavour were replaced with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The new engine belts out a peak power output of 170 PS and a max torque of 420 Nm. This engine comes mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox as standard. The fuel efficiency figure for this engine with the 2WD and the 4WD layouts are rated at 13.9 kmpl and 12.4 kmpl, respectively. Thus, marking a 14 per cent improvement in terms of fuel efficiency in comparison to the previous version.
