2. Car Registration Procedure in Delhi: Detailed Instructions
Follow these easy steps to have your vehicle registered in Delhi.
Step 1: Temporary Registration: The car dealer where sells the car will give the temporary registration for you.
Step 2: Permanent Registration

3. Registration Charges in Delhi for car
The RTO registration charges in Delhi is a sum of money that has to be paid as per the cost of the vehicle. With a price of up to Rs 6 Lakh, a new car requires 4% tax for petrol and 5% tax for diesel. Cars that are priced from Rs 6 Lakh to Rs 10 Lakh will charge 7% tax for petrol and 8.75% for diesel. For all cars above Rs 10 Lakh mark, the petrol-powered models are charged 10% while the diesel models are charged 12.5%.
