The Kia Seltos has proved to be a popular seller in the mid-size SUV market. With it completing 1 year in India, it now comes with a host of updates

After what felt like ages, Hyundai’s sister brand Kia Motors made their entry in the Indian Market with the Seltos. It is a mid-size SUV that rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta and MG Hector in a very competitive segment. It has been a runaway success for Kia as it comes packed with a lot of features packed in an attractive design and value-for-money price. In under a year, the Seltos has chalked up over 1 Lakh units sold and has been a popular choice for the Indian market. To commemorate 1 year of the Seltos being on sale in India, Kia recently launched an anniversary edition. The brand has given a small update to the Seltos HTX trim and here is a video detailing the changes and features added to the SUV.

The video has been uploaded by AutoTrendTV on their Youtube Channel. It details the new updates and features on the HTX trim of the Kia Seltos. It sits just below the all bells and whistles HTX Plus top model and was already a feature-heavy car that gets some additional features from the higher model.

The highlight feature on the MY2020 Kia Seltos HTX trim is that it now comes with an electric sunroof, which wasn’t available before. Additional updates include a rear USB charger and a Seltos scuff plate on the doors. You get all-LED headlamps, split LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, and interestingly, ice cube-shaped LED fog lamps. The signature Tiger Nose grille, the window line, and the door handles get a healthy dollop of chrome garnish while the skid plate gets a silver finish as well. The 17-inch alloy rims are finished in gunmetal grey and gets disc brakes all round.

Coming to the interior, it gets features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system for the centre console, multi-function steering wheel with tilt and telescope adjustability, integrated air purifier, and leatherette seats. But you do miss out on a few features like ventilated front seats, front parking sensors, the 360-degree parking camera, and the Bose speaker system which are reserved for the HTX Plus and GT Line variants only.
