Sketches of Skoda Kodiaq RS Officially Disclosed before Global Debut

The Kodiaq RS is likely to have a robust and strong appearance, which is typical of a performance SUV. Some of the outstanding features of the SUV are huge alloy wheels, inconspicuous tyres and radiator grille with 3D-effects and a vRS badge. The SUV has a brand-new metallic Race Blue cover with black roof rails, outside rear view mirror and window frames.

In the front, it is equipped with a more aggressive bumper and LED headlamps with LED daytime running lamps. In the rear, it is packed with dual chrome-tipped exhaust pipes. The Kodiaq RS has alloy wheels measuring 20 inches and discs measuring 17 inches with red brake callipers.

Although the interior of the Skoda Kodiaq RS has not been revealed, it is expected to resemble the predecessors with a black colour theme like that of the Octavia RS with contrasting highlights and stitches. The Skoda RS is anticipated to have at least two seat rows (excluding the seats of the driver and the front passenger). We can also await a foldable third row. Other outstanding features include a stacked centre tunnel and a digital display unit.

2-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine will supply power to the Skoda Kodiaq RS and churn out 236bhp and 500Nm of torque. This engine will come paired with a novel 8-speed DSG automatic transmission.

The Skoda Kodiaq RS is the first vehicle from the Czech car manufacturer to participate in the performance SUV segmentation. Although it is not likely to be introduced into Indian auto market in the coming time, the Kodiaq RS will be an amazing vehicle with the most powerful engine and premium handling to drive.
