In general, the design of the H7X is identical with the current model in terms of the longer rear overhang and third row of seats. Additional, the mechanical specs also differentiates it from the outgoing model. Specifically, the H7X will be equipped with a higher-powered version which is near 170hp of the 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine. The upcoming model from the homegrown automaker will also introduce a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The teaser also indicates that the automatic version will sport the distinctive rotary gear selector which have already popularized by Jaguar Land Rover cars. Being familiar with the name “Jaguar handshake”, the gear selector on JLR cars will rise once the engine is switched on. The image also reveals an electric parking brake to be available on the H7X.
