Xiaomi Unveils Suzuki Jimny RC Car

Here’s the RC scale model of the Suzuki Jimny recently revealed by one of the biggest Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi. 

Earlier this week, Chinese electronics company Xiaomi was suspected to introduce its first car, but it did not turn out to be the case. Nevertheless, the news spread like a wildfire around the world. Thankfully, it is now confirmed that Xiaomi is not planning to do so. Also, it is not an easy task as Xiaomi is known around the world for making smartphones and other electronic appliances. The company has recently unveiled a remote-controlled 1:16 scale version of Suzuki Jimny. The technology firm is offering the Jimny RC car for 199 Yuan ( Rs 2,128) in its home market. The RC car is based on the current-gen Jimny, which has attracted a lot of off-road enthusiast around the world. The RC model can be controlled via a smartphone application.

It is made up of more 200 components  including a g sensor and a digital servo. The Xiaomi Jimny RC car is priced at Rs 2,128

A person needs to connect the smartphone’s Bluetooth with the RC to enable all the functionalities. Xiaomi has used some good materials to keep its quality top-notch. It gets shockproof nylon material, coil springs and shock absorbers. It also sports special off-road rubber and the motor propelling the Jimny RC sends power to all four wheels.

The RC scale model can be steered easily by moving the smartphone and is made up of more than 200 components including a g sensor and a digital servo. This RC Jimny looks fun and can be a good time pass for the people getting bored during these hard times.

Earlier, Sony also surprised everyone with its Vision S concept at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and one can expect Xiaomi to do something like this in the near future. Talking about Suzuki Jimny, the carmaker is all set to introduce the off-roader in the Indian market next year. The three-door Jimny Sierra was introduced early this year at the 2020 Auto Expo. It is expected to derive power from a 1.5-litre K15B four-pot gasoline motor, which puts out power and torque outputs of 105bhp and 138 Nm. The same power plant does duties in the ongoing Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ciaz, Eritga and XL6.
