2019 Honda NSX Gets Updated Chassis

The 2019 Honda NSX has been facelifted with a new chassis and hybrid powertrain in order to improve comfort, emissions and handling.

The new model is also equipped with updated anti-roll bars at the front and rear, which are stronger by 26% and 19%, respectively. Moreover, the control-arm toe link bushings and rear hubs are strengthened. The adjustable dampers, hybrid powertrain, stability control system and power steering also have their software revised to make the car easier to handle.

Exclusive tyres - Continental SportContact 6s have been made particularly as standard features for the NSX, which add to better feel and reaction during braking, cornering and acceleration. These updated features with a more responsive throttle have decreased the acceleration time on the Suzuka circuit by two seconds in comparison with the old version.

The NSX is now equipped with particulate filter and also a slightly refined turbocharger to fulfil the Euro 6d-TEMP emissions requirements. The pre-facelift NSX is powered by a 3.5-litre hybrid V6 engine, delivering 573bhp and 476lb ft of torque and four-wheel drive, thanks to which, the car can reach 0-62mph in 2.9sec and a top speed of 191mph.
