Mercedes-Benz India kicked off its new car offensive for 2019 by the introduction of luxurious V-Class MPV targeted for the discerning businessman who wants a desirable office-on-the-go family vehicle. Now, the German luxury auto manufacturer has launched the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe at Rs 75 Lakh (ex-showroom) as a completion for the C-Class lineup in India. As Coupes are all the way more enticing to the genuine Indian auto enthusiasts today, the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe has been brought to the country instead of the C43 sedan or cabriolet version.

The C43 Coupe has been freshly made smaller, quicker and more enchanting in its aesthetics and performance. It is the best-looking C-model in its range with an identical face borrowed from the sports sedan counterpart and a distinctive AMG GT-inspired rear fascia and tapering roofline. Besides, other exterior features of the car are very lucrative by multi-beam LED headlights with DRLs on top, large air dams, 19-inch multi-spoke AMG alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof.

Like any other AMG model, the core highlight of the AMG C43 Coupe lies in its heart. The car deploys the energy from a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine which also powers the 43-series models but obtains a different state of tune. The engine this time can make an increase by 23 PS of power up to 390PS along with 530 Nm of torque. The car thereby can clock from 0-100 kmph in 4.7 secs, and its top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph. Power in the C43 Coupe is delivered to all wheels via a 9-speed AMG Speedshift transmission, in which the 4MATIC all-wheel drive is in charge of rear-biased 31:69 power distribution. Furthermore, the car also gets an AMG’s three-stage adjustable suspension (Comfort, Sport and Sport+) deriving from the elder AMG C63 sibling.

On the interior-wise, the Mercedes-AMG C43 cabin is synchronised with the sporty character on the outside. The cabin layout is almost identical to the C-Class in the front while the rear, of course, gets a narrower space with smaller seats. Some outstanding interior features incorporated inside the model are a 10.25-inch COMAND touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay supports, Nappa leather-wrapped three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with touch control buttons, heads-up display, 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster with three styles- Classic, Sporty and Progressive, AMG performance seats and many more.
