2020 Hyundai Creta Bags Over 55,000 Booking Since It's Launched

All-New Hyundai Creta garners over 55,000 bookings since its launch in March, earlier this year. It is currently the best-selling vehicles in the mid-size SUV space.

Hyundai Motor India launched the new-gen Creta earlier this year in March. Due to the nation-wide lockdown, the sales of the new SUV stands still. After the market recovered from the paused state, booking for the Hyundai Creta started to pour in huge numbers. Earlier this year, Hyundai announced that the Hyundai Creta has crossed the 45,000 sales mark. By the end of the same month, the South-Korean carmaker confirmed that the booking for the new Hyundai Creta has reached a new high of 55,000 units.

With such an impressive sales figure, new-gen Hyundai Creta has claimed back the segment-leading position from the Kia Seltos. In the month of May and June, Hyundai’s SUV held the record for the highest sales. It is worth noting that the diesel variants contributed to 60 per cent of the total bookings made by the customers. Moreover, it is claimed that 30 per cent of the booking came via Hyundai’s new “Click to Buy” online booking platform.

The new-gen Hyundai Creta comes with a host of new upmarket features including panoramic sunroof with voice control, 8-speaker Bose audio system, multiple drive modes, traction controls modes, steering-mounted paddle shifters, air purifier with digital display, and ventilated seats. Furthermore, Hyundai is offering Creta with attractive warranty options. With the Wonder Warranty package, buyers are proposed with three options, 3 Years/unlimited km, 4 years/60 000 km and 5 years/50 000 km warranty durations.

Hyundai Creta is offered with a host of new high-end features

2020 Hyundai Creta comes with three choices of engines including a 115BHP 1.5-litre petrol, 115BHP 1.5-litre turbo-diesel, and a 115BHP 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine. The 1.5-litre N/A petrol engine comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox. The diesel engine also gets two gearbox options - 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. On the other hand, the turbo petrol engine comes coupled to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission only.

2020 Hyundai Creta was launched at the starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh. The top-spec model can cost up to Rs 17.20 lakh. The compact SUV is available in five trims, namely E, EX, S, SX and SX (O).
