1. Petrol Engine Options

Tata Harrier comes with an extremely powerful 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine. That said, the Hyundai SUV has three powertrain options, one diesel and two petrol, which is more than the Tata.

2. Rear Disc Brakes

2020 Hyundai Creta offers disc brakes on all four wheels. In comparison, the Tata Harrier offers disc brakes only in the front, while the rear wheels get drum brakes.

3. Electric Parking Brake (with Auto Hold feature)

The new-generation Creta will offer electric parking brake, with auto-hold feature as standard, while the Harrier still makes do with a traditional, mechanical parking brake.

4. Steering-mounted Paddle Shifters

The most powerful engine option on the Hyundai Creta – 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol – will come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. To add some driving excitement, the car will also have paddle shifters behind the steering wheels, just like modern sportscars.

5. In-car Air Purifier

Just like the Kia Seltos, the new Creta will have a built-in air purifier inside its cabin. This feature is not available on the Harrier yet.

6. BlueLink Connectivity

Hyundai will offer the latest ‘Blue Link’ connectivity technology on the Creta. This will allow customers to connect to the car via a smartphone or smartwatch app, enhancing convenience.

7. Remote Engine Start in MT & AT

The second-generation Creta will also offer remote engine start in both, manual as well as automatic transmission.

8. Split Screen function on Touchscreen infotainment system

The Creta will offer split-screen function on its 10.25-inch touchscreen unit. The Harrier, on the other hand, doesn’t have this feature on its 7-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system.

9. Ventilated Front Seats

To ease summertime driving, the Creta will now offer ventilation for the front row seats. Tata is yet to offer this feature on any of its cars, let alone the Harrier.

10. Rear Seat Headrest Cushion

While the Tata Harrier has plush and comfy seats, the 2020 Hyundai Creta takes it a step ahead, offering headrest cushions for the rear passengers.
